Why are my brakes squeaking in my Vauxhall Grandland?

I've noticed recently that my brakes have started to squeak whenever I come to a stop in my Vauxhall Grandland. Is there a specific reason for this and should I be concerned?

From your description, it sounds like your brake pads may be worn down and in need of replacement. It's important to get this taken care of as soon as possible to ensure your brakes continue to function properly.

In some cases, the squeaking can be caused by dust and dirt build-up on the brake pads. Try giving your brakes a good cleaning to see if that helps reduce the noise.

Another common reason for squeaky brakes is low brake fluid. Check your brake fluid levels and top up if needed to see if that solves the issue.
