Why does my Vauxhall Grandland make a loud noise when accelerating?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Grandland and I've noticed that it makes a loud noise when I accelerate. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

It is normal for a car to make some noise during acceleration, but if the noise is particularly loud, it could be a sign of a problem with your exhaust system. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic for a diagnosis as soon as possible.

Make sure that your car's engine oil is topped up. This could be another reason for the loud noise. If the oil level is low, it could cause the engine to strain, resulting in a louder noise. If the oil level is fine, then I would suggest having the transmission checked.

I experienced a similar issue with my Vauxhall Grandland and it turned out to be a loose belt. The noise went away after I tightened the belt. So, I would suggest checking the belts under the hood and tightening them if necessary.
