Why does my Vauxhall Grandland's automatic transmission keep slipping out of gear?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Grandland with an automatic transmission, but I've noticed that it frequently slips out of gear while driving. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

This could be due to a faulty transmission control module. I recommend taking your car to a certified Vauxhall mechanic to have it checked and potentially replaced.

Another possibility is that the transmission fluid is low or dirty. Check your transmission fluid level and condition, and if necessary, have it changed.

It could also be due to a worn out transmission belt or faulty transmission solenoid. Have these components inspected and replaced if necessary.
