I recently noticed that my Vauxhall Insignia makes a clicking noise when I press the accelerator. It's not a constant noise, it only happens when I'm driving at low speeds and when I press the accelerator. What could be causing this and should I be worried?
ReplyThe clicking noise could be caused by a number of factors. It could be an issue with the CV joints, which connect the wheels to the transmission. It could also be a problem with the axle or wheel bearings.
If the clicking noise is accompanied by a vibration, it could be a sign of a worn-out universal joint. In this case, it's important to have it checked by a mechanic as soon as possible to avoid any further damage.
