Why does my Vauxhall Insignia make a knocking noise while driving?

I've noticed a strange knocking noise coming from my Vauxhall Insignia whenever I'm driving at high speeds. It seems to be coming from the front of the car but I can't pinpoint the exact location. Should I be concerned and have it checked by a mechanic?

Yes, it's always best to have any unusual noises checked by a mechanic to ensure the safety and longevity of your car. The knocking noise could be a sign of a worn out suspension or steering component.

It could also be caused by loose wheel nuts or a wheel bearing issue. I suggest having it checked out as soon as possible to prevent any further damage.

If you notice the knocking noise when turning, it could be due to a faulty CV joint. It's important to have this fixed as soon as possible to avoid any potential accidents on the road.
