When I refuel my Vauxhall Mokka, it sometimes has trouble starting afterwards. It takes a few tries before the engine finally turns over. This only seems to happen after I have filled up the tank completely. What could be causing this issue? Is it something I should be concerned about? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyIt is possible that the issue is related to the fuel system. When refueling, be sure to tighten the gas cap securely. A loose or faulty gas cap can cause issues with the fuel system pressure which can affect the starting of the engine.
Another possibility could be a clogged fuel filter. When was the last time you had the fuel filter changed? A dirty or clogged fuel filter can hinder the flow of fuel to the engine, causing issues with starting and performance.
I would also recommend checking the spark plugs. As they can wear over time, they may not be providing a strong enough spark for the engine to start easily. It may be time to have them replaced.
