I have a Vauxhall Movano and I have noticed that when I come to a stop, the engine will sometimes stall. This seems to happen more frequently when the engine is cold. Any ideas why this is happening?
ReplyThis could be due to a few different issues. One common cause is a dirty air filter, which can cause the engine to have trouble getting enough oxygen to run smoothly. I would recommend checking and potentially replacing your air filter to see if that solves the problem.
Another possible issue could be a faulty idle control valve. This is responsible for regulating the idle speed of the engine and if it is not functioning properly, it can cause stalling. You may want to take your vehicle to a mechanic to have it properly diagnosed and repaired.
It's also worth checking your fuel filter and spark plugs. A clogged fuel filter or worn out spark plugs can cause stalling and can easily be replaced. If you are unsure how to do this yourself, a mechanic can help you with these tasks.
