I have a 2018 Vauxhall Astra and recently I have noticed that it has been losing power when I accelerate. This usually happens when I am going up a hill or trying to overtake another car. I have checked the fluids and they seem to be fine. What could be causing this issue?
ReplyHi Emma, this could be a sign that your fuel filter is clogged. When the fuel filter is clogged, it can prevent enough fuel from reaching the engine, resulting in a loss of power. I would recommend getting your fuel filter replaced to see if that solves the issue.
Hi Emma, another possibility could be that your spark plugs are worn out. When spark plugs are worn out, they can cause misfires in the engine which can lead to a loss of power. I suggest getting your spark plugs checked and replaced if needed.
