I have a Vauxhall Astra that seems to be stalling at low speeds, especially when I come to a stop or slow down. It's really frustrating and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Any advice?
ReplyHi Sara, I'm sorry to hear about your stalling issue. This could potentially be caused by a few different things, such as a clogged fuel filter or a faulty oxygen sensor. It's hard to say without diagnosing the vehicle. I would recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic to have them take a look at it. They will be able to run diagnostic tests and pinpoint the exact issue. Hope this helps!
Hey Sara, I had the same issue with my Vauxhall Astra a few months ago. It turned out to be a problem with the fuel injectors. I would suggest taking it to a mechanic and having them check the injectors. They may need to be cleaned or replaced. Best of luck!
Hi Sara, I understand how frustrating engine stalling can be. Another possible cause could be a faulty idle air control valve. This controls the amount of air that flows into the engine at idle. If it's malfunctioning, it can cause stalling at low speeds. I would recommend having a mechanic check this component as well. Hope this helps!
