Why is my Vauxhall Astra shaking when I drive at high speeds?

I just bought a used Vauxhall Astra and noticed that it starts to shake when I go over 70 mph. I'm not sure what could be causing this and how to fix it. Can someone please give me some insights?

Hi Sarah, congratulations on your new car! It sounds like your Astra may have an issue with its suspension or tires. I recommend bringing it to a trusted mechanic to get it checked out. It's always better to address any issues early before they turn into bigger problems.

Hi Sarah, I had a similar issue with my Astra and it turned out to be a worn out wheel bearing. It's a common problem with this model. I suggest taking it to a mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.

Hey Sarah, it could also be an alignment issue. My friend had the same problem with her Astra and it was caused by misaligned tires. She got them realigned and the shaking stopped. Definitely worth checking out!
