I recently purchased a Vauxhall Combo Life and have noticed that the engine is making a ticking noise. It's a 2020 model and only has 5,000 miles on it. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
ReplyHi Samantha, it's quite common for newer cars to make strange noises as they break in and adjust to your driving style. However, if the ticking noise becomes louder or more frequent, it could be a sign of a more serious issue. I would recommend taking your car to a certified mechanic to have it checked out.
Hi Samantha, one possible cause of the ticking noise could be low oil levels or dirty oil. I suggest checking your oil levels and if they are low, adding more oil and seeing if the noise improves. If the noise continues, it's best to have a mechanic take a look.
