Recently I have noticed that my Vauxhall Corsa's engine is making a knocking noise when I accelerate. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
ReplyThis could be caused by a number of issues, but the most likely culprit is low engine oil. Check your oil levels and make sure they are topped up if needed.
Another possible cause could be a loose belt in the engine. If you hear a squealing noise along with the knocking, it's likely the belt needs to be tightened or replaced.
It's also possible that there is an issue with your spark plugs. If they are worn or damaged, they can cause knocking noises in the engine. Consider getting them replaced.
