Why is my Vauxhall Corsa making a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I've noticed that my Vauxhall Corsa makes a strange noise, almost like a squeaking sound, when I turn the steering wheel. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

This could be a sign of worn out steering components, such as the steering rack or tie rods. It's important to get this checked by a mechanic as it could affect the handling and safety of your car.

It could also be caused by a lack of power steering fluid. Check the fluid level and top up if necessary. If the problem persists, it's best to have a professional take a look.

E

Another possible culprit could be a loose or damaged belt in the steering system. Have a mechanic inspect the belts and replace if needed.
