I recently purchased a used Vauxhall Corsa and I've noticed that the engine is making knocking sounds. It doesn't seem to affect the performance but it's really bothering me. What could be causing this and how can I address it?
ReplyHi Pauline, congratulations on your new car! The knocking sound in your engine could be caused by a few different things.
First, check your oil level and make sure it's at the correct level. Low oil can cause knocking sounds in your engine.
It could also be an issue with your spark plugs or ignition timing. I would recommend taking it to a mechanic to get it properly diagnosed and fixed.
