Why is my Vauxhall Crossland making a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I've noticed that my Vauxhall Crossland is making a squeaking noise when I turn the steering wheel. It seems to happen more frequently when I'm turning at low speeds. What could be causing this and what should I do?

It's possible that the noise is coming from your power steering system. This could be due to low levels of power steering fluid or a worn power steering belt. I would recommend checking the fluid levels and replacing the belt if necessary.

Another possible cause could be worn out ball joints or tie rod ends. These components help with the steering and suspension of your vehicle and can wear out over time. It's important to have them inspected and replaced if needed to ensure proper handling and safety.

If you recently had any work done on your car, it's possible that something was not tightened correctly and is now causing the noise. I would recommend bringing your car back to the mechanic to have them check for any loose components.
