Why is my Vauxhall Crossland's engine making a clicking noise?

I recently noticed that whenever I start my Vauxhall Crossland, the engine makes a loud clicking noise. It goes away after a few minutes of driving, but I'm worried that something might be wrong. What could be causing this and should I take it to a mechanic?

Hi Emily, the clicking noise could be a sign of low oil levels in your engine. I recommend checking your oil levels and topping up if necessary. If the noise continues, it's best to take your car to a mechanic for a thorough inspection.

Hi Emily, it's possible that there's a problem with a component in your engine like a faulty lifter or valve. It's best to have a mechanic diagnose and fix the issue before it causes any further damage to your engine.

Hi Emily, make sure to check your battery connections as well. Loose connections can cause a clicking noise when starting the car. If that's not the issue, it's best to have a mechanic take a look to pinpoint the cause of the noise.
