Why is my Vauxhall Grandland making a loud grinding noise when I turn left?

I recently noticed that whenever I turn left, my Vauxhall Grandland makes a really loud grinding noise. It doesn't seem to happen when I turn right or drive straight. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi Samantha, this could be an indication of a worn out or faulty wheel bearing. It's important to get this checked and replaced as soon as possible as it can cause further damage to your car's suspension and steering. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic for a diagnosis and repair.

Hi Samantha, have you recently replaced your brake pads? If so, it's possible that they were not installed properly and are now rubbing against the rotor, causing the grinding noise. I suggest taking your car back to the mechanic who did the brake job and have them inspect it.

Hey Samantha, another common cause of grinding noises when turning is low power steering fluid. Check your power steering fluid level and top it off if necessary. If the noise persists, it's best to have a professional take a look.
