Why is my Vauxhall Grandland’s engine making strange noises?

The rattling noise could be due to a faulty exhaust system or a loose belt. It is best to take your car to a mechanic to diagnose the issue and fix it.

It could also be caused by a problem with the engine itself, such as worn out bearings or piston slap. A mechanic will be able to pinpoint the exact cause and provide the necessary repairs.

D

Make sure to check the oil level in your engine. Low oil levels can also lead to strange noises and cause engine damage if not addressed promptly. If the oil level is low, top it up and see if the noise persists.
