Why is my Vauxhall Grandland's touch screen not working?

I have recently bought a Vauxhall Grandland and I noticed that my touch screen is not responding. I have tried turning it off and on again, but it still doesn't work. What could be causing this issue?

First, make sure that the touch screen is not locked. This can sometimes happen if you accidentally press and hold a certain area for too long. If it is not locked, there may be a software issue. Try resetting the system by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, it could be a hardware problem and you should bring it to a certified technician.

You may need to update your software. Sometimes, outdated software can cause touch screen malfunctions. Go to the settings menu and look for a software update option. If there is one available, install it and see if that solves the issue.

If neither of those solutions work, it could be a wiring issue. If you feel comfortable, you can try opening the dashboard and checking if any wires are loose or disconnected. If the problem persists, I would recommend taking it to a professional to avoid causing further damage.
