Why is my Vauxhall Insignia emitting a strange smell?

I have noticed that my Vauxhall Insignia has been emitting a strange smell while driving. It's hard to describe, but it's a cross between rotten eggs and burning rubber. Is this something I should be concerned about? What could be causing this?

Hi Maria, thanks for reaching out. The strange smell emitting from your Vauxhall Insignia could be a sign of a few different issues. It could be caused by a leaking fuel injector, a faulty catalytic converter, or even a malfunctioning oxygen sensor. I would recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.

Hey Maria, the smell you are describing could also be coming from a build-up of dirt and grime on your engine. This can happen over time and can be easily fixed by getting a professional engine cleaning. It's always a good idea to maintain a clean engine for optimal performance anyway.

Hi Maria, another possibility for the strange smell could be a problem with your exhaust system. If there is a leak or damage in the exhaust, it could be causing the smell. I would suggest getting your exhaust checked and repaired if necessary.
