Why is my Vauxhall Insignia making a clicking noise when I turn it on?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Insignia and whenever I turn it on, I hear a clicking noise coming from the engine. What could be causing this and is it something I should be concerned about?

The most likely cause of the clicking noise is a faulty starter motor. This is a common issue with Vauxhall Insignia cars and can be easily replaced by a mechanic.

Another possibility could be a low battery or loose battery connections. Make sure to check your battery and its connections to see if that could be the issue.

It could also be a problem with the ignition switch. If the switch is faulty, it may need to be replaced to fix the clicking noise.
