Why is my Vauxhall Insignia making a rattling noise when I accelerate?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Insignia and have noticed that there is a rattling noise coming from the engine when I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the front of the car and gets louder as I increase speed. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

It sounds like there could be an issue with your exhaust system. Check for any loose components or damage that could be causing the noise.

Another possibility could be a problem with the timing belt. It's important to have this checked by a mechanic as a broken timing belt can cause major damage to the engine.

If the noise is more of a squealing sound, it could be an issue with the serpentine belt. Have a mechanic check for any signs of wear or damage.
