Why is my Vauxhall Insignia overheating after I changed the coolant?

I recently changed the coolant in my Vauxhall Insignia and now it seems to be overheating. What could be the reason for this and how can I fix it?

It is possible that there is air trapped in the cooling system after the coolant change. Try bleeding the system to get rid of any air pockets.

D

Make sure that you used the correct type and mix of coolant for your Vauxhall Insignia. Using the wrong type can cause overheating.

E

Check for any leaks in the cooling system. A small leak can cause the system to lose pressure and overheat.

M

If none of the above solutions work, it is possible that there is a bigger issue with the cooling system. It would be best to bring it to a mechanic for further inspection.
