Why is my Vauxhall Mokka engine making a clicking noise?

I recently noticed that my Vauxhall Mokka's engine is making a clicking noise while idling. It seems to be happening more frequently now. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

First, check your oil levels and make sure they are at the recommended level. Low oil can cause engine components to make noise. If that's not the issue, it could be a problem with your camshaft position sensor or timing chain. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.

If your car has been sitting for an extended period of time, try letting it run for a bit to see if the noise goes away. Sometimes, cars make strange noises if they have been sitting idle for a while. If the noise persists, it's best to have a professional take a look.

I had a similar issue with my car and it turned out to be a loose spark plug. Make sure all your spark plugs are tightened properly and if the noise continues, it could be a faulty ignition coil. Have a mechanic check it out for you.
