Why is my Vauxhall Mokka making a clicking noise when I accelerate?

I have noticed that my Vauxhall Mokka is making a clicking noise whenever I accelerate. It doesn't happen all the time, but it is quite noticeable when it does. What could be causing this and should I be worried?

It is possible that the clicking noise is coming from a loose or worn CV joint. This is a common issue in vehicles with front-wheel drive and can cause trouble with acceleration and turning. I recommend having a mechanic take a look at it as soon as possible to avoid any further damage.

Another potential cause of the clicking noise could be a problem with the fuel injectors. Over time, they can become clogged or damaged, causing a clicking or tapping sound. It may be wise to have them inspected and cleaned or replaced if necessary.

In some cases, the clicking noise could be coming from a damaged or worn engine mount. This can cause the engine to shake and produce a clicking or rattling sound. I suggest having a mechanic check the engine mounts and replace any that are damaged.
