Why is my Vauxhall Mokka making a scraping noise when I turn?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Mokka and noticed that when I turn the steering wheel left or right, there is a scraping noise coming from the front. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi Samantha, it sounds like you may have an issue with your wheel bearings. This can cause a scraping noise when turning. It's important to have this checked by a mechanic as soon as possible, as worn wheel bearings can lead to further damage and potentially unsafe driving conditions.

Hi Samantha, another possible cause of the scraping noise could be worn brake pads. As you turn, the pads may be rubbing against the rotors, causing the noise. It's best to have a mechanic inspect your brakes and replace any worn pads to ensure safe and smooth driving.

Hey Samantha, have you checked your power steering fluid? Low or dirty fluid can cause noises when turning. Try topping up the fluid or having it changed, and see if the noise improves. If not, it could be a sign of a larger issue.
