Why is my Vauxhall Movano making a loud banging noise?

I have noticed that my Vauxhall Movano is making a loud banging noise, especially when I am accelerating. This noise started about a week ago and seems to be getting worse. What could be causing this and is there anything I can do to fix it?

Hi Sara, the loud banging noise could be caused by a number of things. It could be an issue with the exhaust system, such as a loose muffler or a damaged catalytic converter. It could also be an issue with the engine, such as a worn out timing belt or faulty engine mounts. I would recommend taking your Vauxhall Movano to a certified mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.

Hey Sara, I had a similar issue with my Vauxhall Movano and it turned out to be a problem with the suspension. The suspension components may have become worn or damaged over time and can cause the noise you are experiencing. I would suggest getting your suspension checked by a mechanic to determine if any repairs or replacements are needed.

Hi Sara, another possible cause for the loud banging noise could be a loose or damaged belt in the engine. If the belt is loose, it can cause the pulleys to slip and create a loud banging noise. I would recommend having a mechanic check the belts in your Vauxhall Movano to see if they need to be tightened or replaced.
