Why is my Vauxhall Zafira Life engine making a knocking noise?

Lately, I've noticed that my Vauxhall Zafira Life's engine has been making a knocking noise. It's not very loud, but it's definitely noticeable and I'm worried that something might be wrong. What could be causing this and what should I do?

Hi Samantha, a knocking noise from your engine could indicate a few different issues. It could be a problem with your spark plugs, fuel injectors, or even the engine itself. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have it checked out as soon as possible.

Hi Samantha, it's possible that the knocking noise is caused by low oil levels or dirty spark plugs. Try checking your oil levels and if they're low, top it off. If that doesn't solve the issue, then it's best to take your car to a trusted mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

Hi Samantha, I had a similar issue with my Zafira Life and it turned out to be a loose belt in the engine. I would recommend checking all the belts under the hood and tightening them if needed. If the noise persists, then it's best to have a mechanic take a look.
