Why is my Vauxhall Zafira Life shaking when I brake?

I recently purchased a used Vauxhall Zafira Life and I noticed that when I brake, the car shakes quite a bit. It seems to be getting worse the longer I drive it. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

This could be caused by several things such as worn brake pads, warped rotors, or even loose suspension components. It's important to have a mechanic inspect your vehicle to determine the exact cause and address it before it gets worse.

One common cause of shaking when braking is unevenly worn brake pads. This can be easily fixed by replacing the brake pads, but it's important to also have the rotors resurfaced or replaced to prevent the issue from happening again.

Another possibility is that there could be an issue with the suspension components, such as worn out shocks or struts. These should be inspected and replaced if necessary to ensure a smooth and safe ride.
