Why is the tire pressure light on in my Vauxhall Mokka?

I recently noticed that the tire pressure light has turned on in my Vauxhall Mokka. I checked the tire pressure and it seems to be at the correct level. What could be causing this issue? Is it something that I should be concerned about?

It's possible that the tire pressure sensor may be malfunctioning. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic for a diagnostic test. They can check the sensor and ensure that there aren't any other underlying issues.

Another common reason for the tire pressure light to turn on is if you have recently changed your tires. Make sure that the new tires are properly inflated and reset the tire pressure light if necessary.

If your tire pressure light is still on after checking the tire pressure, it could indicate a leak in one of your tires. Inspect all of your tires for any punctures or damage. If you find a leak, take your car to a mechanic to have it repaired.

In some cases, the tire pressure light may turn on due to changes in temperature. As the weather gets colder, the air inside your tires can become more dense, causing the pressure to decrease. Try checking your tire pressure again when the weather gets warmer.
