My AC suddenly stopped working in my Vauxhall Zafira Life. It was working perfectly fine before and I don't know why it stopped. Is there something I can do to fix it or should I take it to a mechanic?
ReplyHi Rachel, sorry to hear about your AC issue. It could be a number of things causing this problem. First, check the AC compressor and see if it's working properly. If it is, then the issue could be with the refrigerant levels. Have a professional check and refill them if needed. If neither of those fix the issue, then it could be a problem with the AC control unit. In that case, it's best to take it to a mechanic to have it properly diagnosed and repaired.
Rachel, I've had the same issue with my Vauxhall Zafira Life before. It turned out to be a faulty AC compressor. If you don't hear any noise when you turn on the AC, then the compressor is most likely the problem. I would suggest taking it to a mechanic to have it replaced.
Hi Rachel, I had a similar issue with my Vauxhall Zafira Life and it was due to low refrigerant levels. The AC was still blowing air, but it wasn't cold. I took it to a mechanic to have the refrigerant refilled and it solved the problem. You can also try checking the AC fuse and make sure it's not blown.
