How do I know if my Vauxhall Insignia needs a brake fluid change?

I recently purchased a secondhand Vauxhall Insignia and I'm not sure when the last brake fluid change was done. How can I check if it needs to be changed and how often should I do it?

Brake fluid should be changed every 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. The easiest way to check is by looking at the color of the brake fluid. If it's clear or light brown, it's still good. If it's dark brown or black, it's time for a change.

C

You can also check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If it's below the minimum level, it's definitely time for a change. Remember to always use the recommended brake fluid for your Vauxhall Insignia to ensure proper performance.

I highly recommend getting your brake fluid changed at a certified Vauxhall service center. This way, you can be sure that it's done correctly and with the right type of brake fluid. It may cost a bit more, but it's worth it for your safety.
