How do I replace the brake pads on my Vauxhall Zafira Life?

I have noticed that my brake pads are starting to wear out and I want to replace them myself. Can someone provide me with step-by-step instructions on how to do so? My Vauxhall Zafira Life is a 2018 model.

First, make sure your car is on a level surface and the parking brake is engaged. Then loosen the lug nuts on the wheel you will be working on, but do not remove them yet.

Next, safely raise your car with a jack and secure it with jack stands. Once the wheel is off the ground, remove the lug nuts and the wheel to access the brake caliper.

E

Using a brake caliper tool, compress the piston back into the caliper to make room for the new brake pads. Make sure to use the correct tool for your specific caliper.

Now remove the old brake pads and replace them with the new ones. Make sure they are properly aligned and secure.

Finally, put the wheel back on and tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern. Repeat the process for the other wheels and test your brakes before driving.
