How often should I replace the brake pads on my Vauxhall Combo Life?

I have been driving my Vauxhall Combo Life for 3 years now and I am wondering how often I should replace the brake pads. I use my car daily for commuting and sometimes for long trips. What is your recommendation for maintaining safe and efficient braking for my vehicle? Thanks!

It is recommended to replace brake pads every 25,000-50,000 miles or when you notice a decrease in braking performance. However, this can vary depending on your driving habits and the condition of your brake system. It is best to have your brakes checked by a mechanic annually or every 12,000 miles.

I have a Vauxhall Combo Life as well and I personally replace my brake pads every 30,000 miles as a precaution. It may be a good idea to also check the condition of your brake rotors at the same time to ensure proper braking function.

As long as you are regularly maintaining your vehicle and not experiencing any issues with braking, you should be fine replacing the brake pads every 40,000-50,000 miles. But remember to always listen for any unusual noises or vibrations when braking as it could indicate a problem.
