How often should the timing belt be changed in a Vauxhall Corsa?

I have a 2015 Vauxhall Corsa and I'm wondering when I should change the timing belt. I've heard different opinions and I want to make sure I'm taking care of my car properly.

It's recommended to change the timing belt every 60,000 miles or 6 years, whichever comes first. Check your owner's manual for specific guidelines for your model.

If the timing belt breaks, it can cause significant damage to your engine. It's better to err on the side of caution and change it sooner rather than later.

I've been a mechanic for over 20 years and I've seen many engines destroyed because the timing belt wasn't changed on time. Don't take the risk.
