Is there a way to reset the service light on the Vauxhall Astra?

I recently serviced my Vauxhall Astra, but the service light is still on. Is there a way to manually reset it without taking it to a dealership?

Yes, there is a way to reset the service light on the Vauxhall Astra. First, make sure the car is turned off. Then, press and hold the Trip Reset button on the dashboard. While holding the button, turn the car to the ON position. Keep holding the button until the service light starts blinking. Once it starts blinking, release the button and press it again quickly. The service light should now be reset.

Alternatively, you can also use a diagnostic tool to reset the service light on your Vauxhall Astra. This is a more advanced method and may require some knowledge about using diagnostic tools. It's best to consult a professional if you're not familiar with using one.

Another option is to disconnect the negative terminal of the car's battery for a few minutes. This will reset the car's computer and should also reset the service light. Just make sure you have any necessary codes or passwords for your car's radio or navigation system before disconnecting the battery.
