A common cause for this issue could be a dead battery. Check the battery connections and make sure they are tight. If the battery is dead, try jumpstarting the vehicle or replace the battery.

Another possibility is a problem with the starter motor. If you hear a clicking sound when you try to start the engine, it could be a sign of a faulty starter motor. In this case, you may need to take your vehicle to a mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.

It's also possible that there is an issue with the ignition switch. Check if the key turns easily in the ignition and if it does, the problem may lie with the ignition switch. This can be replaced by a professional mechanic.
