Is it normal for the brakes to feel spongy in a Vauxhall Vivaro?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Vivaro and I noticed that the brakes feel spongy when I press down on them. Is this normal or is there an issue with my brakes?

Hi Emily, it is not normal for the brakes to feel spongy in a Vauxhall Vivaro. It could indicate that there is air in the brake lines or a potential issue with the brake system. I would recommend having a professional mechanic inspect your brakes to ensure they are functioning properly.

Hey Emily, I had the same issue with my Vauxhall Vivaro and it turned out to be a problem with the brake pads. I would suggest getting them checked and potentially replaced if needed.

Hi Emily, the brakes on the Vauxhall Vivaro tend to feel spongy when they are low on brake fluid. Check the brake fluid reservoir and add more fluid if needed. If the problem persists, it may be best to take it to a mechanic for a closer inspection.
