What could be causing my Vauxhall Astra to jerk while driving at high speeds?

I have noticed that my Vauxhall Astra tends to jerk or stutter while driving at high speeds, especially when I accelerate. This usually happens on the highway and can be quite alarming. Are there any common issues that could be causing this? What steps should I take to address this problem?

Hi Hannah, there are a couple of possible reasons for your car's jerking. It could be a fuel delivery issue, a problem with the transmission, or even a faulty spark plug. I suggest taking your car to a mechanic to have it diagnosed and fixed.

Hi Hannah, I have experienced a similar issue with my Vauxhall Astra in the past. After some research, I found that it could be due to a clogged fuel filter. I would recommend having yours checked and replaced if necessary.

Hi Hannah, sometimes this type of issue can also be caused by a faulty throttle position sensor. I would recommend having it checked and replaced if needed.
