What do I do if my Vauxhall Mokka's engine fails to start?

I've been having trouble starting my Vauxhall Mokka's engine lately. The dashboard lights up and the battery seems fine, but when I turn the key, nothing happens. What could be causing this issue?

First, check your key fob battery. If it's low, replace it and see if that solves the problem. If not, it could be an issue with your ignition switch or the starter motor.

Another possibility is a faulty fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter. Try turning the key to the 'accessory' position and listen for a humming noise coming from the fuel tank. If you don't hear anything, it could be an indication of a problem with the fuel system.

If the engine doesn't turn over at all, it could also be a problem with your car's security system. Try using your spare key to see if that makes a difference. If not, it's best to bring your car to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.
