What kind of oil should I use for my Vauxhall Movano engine?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Movano and was wondering what type of oil is best to use for the engine. Is conventional oil sufficient or should I use a synthetic blend? Will using a different type of oil affect the performance or longevity of the engine?

Hi Emma, congratulations on your new purchase! It is always best to use the oil recommended by the manufacturer. In this case, Vauxhall recommends using a 5W-30 ACEA A3/B4 oil for optimal performance and longevity of your Movano's engine. This type of oil is a synthetic blend which offers better protection and performance compared to conventional oil. I would highly recommend sticking to Vauxhall's recommendation to ensure the best performance and durability for your engine.
