What type of oil does the Vauxhall Zafira Life use?

I just purchased a Vauxhall Zafira Life and I'm wondering what type of oil should I use? The manual says 0W-30 or 5W-40, but I've heard conflicting opinions from other Zafira Life owners. Can anyone provide some recommendations?
