Why does my Vauxhall Crossland's automatic transmission not shift properly?

I have noticed that my Vauxhall Crossland's automatic transmission is not shifting properly. It seems to be stuck in a lower gear and it struggles to shift to a higher gear. What could be causing this issue?

It is possible that there is an issue with the transmission control module. It is responsible for controlling the shifting of gears in an automatic transmission. I suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic to have it diagnosed and repaired.

Another potential cause could be low transmission fluid. Check the fluid level and if it is low, top it up with the recommended type of fluid for your specific model of Vauxhall Crossland.

It could also be a problem with the shift solenoids. These are responsible for controlling the flow of transmission fluid and can become stuck or damaged. A mechanic will need to inspect and replace the faulty solenoid if necessary.
