Why does my Vauxhall Grandland smell like burning oil?

I recently noticed a strong smell of burning oil coming from my Vauxhall Grandland. Is this something I should be concerned about?

It is possible that there is a leak in your engine's oil gasket, causing the burning smell. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have it looked at.

Another reason for the burning smell could be a faulty oil filter or oil cap. I suggest checking these components and replacing them if necessary.

If you recently changed your oil, it is possible that some oil spilled onto the engine and is burning off. If the smell persists, however, I would still have it checked out.
