Why does the engine of my Vauxhall Mokka make a strange noise?

I have noticed that the engine of my Vauxhall Mokka is making a strange rattling noise. It seems to happen when I am driving at low speeds or when I come to a stop. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

The strange noise you are hearing is most likely caused by a faulty timing chain. This can be a common issue in Vauxhall Mokka models. You should take your car to a mechanic as soon as possible to have it checked and replaced if needed.

I had a similar issue with my Vauxhall Mokka and it turned out to be a loose exhaust bracket. This can cause rattling noises when the car is in motion. It's a simple fix that can be done at a repair shop.

If your car is a diesel model, the noise could be coming from the clutch. It may need to be adjusted or replaced. I would suggest taking it to a Vauxhall dealership for an inspection.

Another possible cause of the strange noise could be a worn out alternator belt. This can create a high-pitched squealing noise. Have a mechanic check the belt and replace it if necessary.
