The knocking sound may be caused by low engine oil. Check your oil level and top it up if necessary. If the sound continues, it could be a sign of more serious engine problems. Bring your car to a mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.

Another possible cause of the knocking sound is dirty or low quality fuel. Try using a fuel additive to clean your fuel system and switch to a higher quality fuel. If the sound persists, it's best to have a professional inspect your engine.

It's also possible that the knocking sound is coming from a loose or worn out component in the engine, such as a belt or pulley. Inspect these parts and replace them if necessary. If you're unsure how to do this, it's best to take your car to a mechanic.
