Why is my Vauxhall Corsa making a loud humming noise?

I've noticed that my Vauxhall Corsa has been making a loud humming noise when I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

There could be a few reasons for this loud humming noise. One possibility could be a problem with the wheel bearings. If they're worn or damaged, they could be making that noise. Another possibility could be an issue with the tires, such as uneven wear or a problem with the alignment. I suggest checking both of these areas first.

I had a similar issue with my Corsa and it turned out to be a loose heat shield. It's worth checking if any of the heat shields under the car are loose or damaged. If they are, they can cause vibrations and noises.

It's always a good idea to get your car checked by a mechanic if you notice any unusual noises. They will be able to accurately diagnose the issue and advise on the best course of action. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your car's health.
