Why is my Vauxhall Crossland engine hesitating while accelerating?

I have noticed that my Vauxhall Crossland's engine hesitates while accelerating, especially at lower speeds. This has been happening for about a week now and it's starting to worry me. What could be the cause of this issue and how can I fix it?

This type of hesitation can be caused by a variety of issues such as a dirty air filter, faulty fuel injectors, or a clogged fuel filter. I would recommend having your car inspected by a mechanic to accurately diagnose the problem.

Another common cause of engine hesitation is a faulty ignition coil or spark plugs. These components can wear out over time and cause your engine to misfire, resulting in hesitation. I suggest getting these parts checked and replaced if necessary.

In some cases, a dirty or failing mass airflow sensor can also cause hesitation during acceleration. This sensor measures the amount of air entering your engine and if it's not functioning properly, it can affect your engine performance. I advise having this component cleaned or replaced.
