Why is my Vauxhall Crossland engine making a rattling noise?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Crossland and have noticed that the engine makes a rattling noise while idling. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it normal?

It is not normal for a new car to make a rattling noise, so it would be best to take your Crossland to a Vauxhall dealership for a thorough inspection.

Check your oil levels and make sure they are at the recommended level. Low oil levels can sometimes cause engine rattling.

It could be a loose heat shield or exhaust component causing the rattling noise. Bring it to a mechanic to have it checked and fixed.
