Why is my Vauxhall Crossland fuel consumption increasing?

I've noticed that my Vauxhall Crossland's fuel consumption has been increasing lately, even though I haven't changed my driving habits. What could be causing this and how can I improve my fuel efficiency?

It's normal for your fuel consumption to increase over time as your car ages and its efficiency decreases. However, if you've noticed a sudden and significant increase, it could be due to a number of factors.

First, have you checked your tire pressure recently? Low tire pressure can greatly impact your fuel efficiency. Also, make sure you're using the recommended grade of motor oil for your car.

Another reason for increased fuel consumption could be that your air filter is dirty or clogged. A dirty air filter can cause your engine to work harder and burn more fuel.
